Dr Lakshmi Mahajan did her MBBS (2001) and MD (2007) in Anaesthesia from GMCH, Chandigarh. She joined sgrduhs as senior resident and is presently Associate Professor of Anesthesia.

She had been on a panel of external examinations of BSc nursing exams. She has attended many national and regional conferences and workshops and has delivered three guest lectures.

Dr Mahajan has been secretary of ISA Amritsar city branch. She has six publications in indexed journals. She is a life member of several societies and associations like ISA, RSACPCON. She has been working as covid frontline warrior during this Corona pandemic.

She has special interest in critical care and trauma.

Dr Jyot Amrita did PhD (2019) in Medical Biochemistry from Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot. She worked as Biochemist in MSSCH and lecturer in SGRDIDSR. Served as Biochemist, Tutor and Assistant Professor in sgrduhs till 2019. Presently, she is Associate Professor of Biochemistry.

She did a UGC sponsored course on Analysis of Biological Data (2012) and two Research Methodology courses (2013, 2014). She completed the Implementation Training Programme on Quality Management System and Internal Audit in Medical Laboratories as per NABL (2014) and a Hands-on workshop in Laboratory Medicine (2014). She also did Basic Course workshop in Medical Education Technologies (2015), AHA-Basic Life Support (BLS) course (2019). and Certificate Course on NABH Accreditation Standards for Hospitals (2019).

Dr Jyot Amrita has attended more than 40 National and International Conferences/Workshops/CMEs and has presented oral/poster papers in 13 scientific programs as resource faculty / delegate.  She has 6 research publications in National and International indexed journals and has received a certificate of excellence for reviewing manuscripts of 8 National and International indexed journals. She has more than 30 years of teaching as well as clinical experience.

Dr. Pooja Dhawan passed MBBS (1998) from Govt. Medical College, Amritsar and MD (2013) in Dermatology, Venereology & Leprology from DMC, Ludhiana. She is presently Associate Professor of Dermatology at SGRDIMSR.

Dr. Pooja Dhawan has 9 International and 4 National publications in indexed journals. She is a life member of IADVL and Nail Society of Dermatology

She has special interest in nail disorders and pigmentary disorders.

Dr. Kiran Rao did MBBS (1998) and MS (2002) in Otorhinolaryngology from R.N.T Medical College, Udaipur. Presently she is Professor of ENT at SGRDIMSR.

Dr Rao has been appointed as an External Examiner for MBBS and MS Examination at various reputed institutions. She has 12 National and International Publications in indexed journals and has evaluated many theses of MS candidates from various colleges all over India.

She is a life member of Association of Otorhinolaryngology of India and Indian Medical Association.

Dr. Gurpreet Singh Chhabra did his MBBS (1999) and MD (2004) Pediatrics from GMC, Amritsar. He joined as SR and is presently Professor in the Department of Pediatrics.

He has completed basic and advanced NRP training under the Indian Academy of Pediatrics. He is a full-fledged instructor for BLS course of IAP. He has participated in two National ToTs conducted by IAP of ‘Under 5 Wheezers’ and ‘WAR- Write Antimicrobials Responsibly’.

Dr. Chhabra has attended various national conferences and workshops. He has various publications in national and international journals. He is a life member of IAP and is actively associated with the local branch. He is Executive member of Satluj Academy of Pediatrics, State body, 2020.

His area of special interest is Adolescent Health.

Dr. Sukhdeep Kaur did her MBBS (2001) from Govt. Medical College, Bellary, Karnataka and DNB  (2010) in Pediatrics from Jaipur Golden Hospital, New Delhi.

She worked as Senior Resident in the department of pediatrics at sgrduhs for three years with one year dedicated duty in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). She is presently Assistant Professor in the department of Pediatrics at SGRD. She has successfully completed NALS, PALS and ALS courses.

Dr Sukhdeep Kaur has 2 research publications, 1 each in International and National indexed journals.

She is a life member of Indian Academy of Pediatrics and National Neonatology Forum (Punjab State Chapter).
